I was recommended Villa Electra by a friend who has stayed there several times. It was, honestly, more than I could have dreamed of - I barely left the place. Next time I will explore the Island but for my first holiday in Halki it was enough to sit on the terrace and watch the boats come in and out of the harbour, swim in the heavenly blue sea, eat at one of the fabulous tavernas - which are only a few minutes away and just relax.

It is a rare find when you can stay in a house that has so much character and history and at the same time top-notch, up-to-date amenities, having recently undergone major renovations! The location is its hands-down main advantage- a 5-minute flat walk to the piazza- and at the same time private and quiet enough and, of course, with the sea just a couple of metres away from your bed. Superclean, supertasteful and with a hostess that's accessible and available from day one. She helped us book our boat trips too which can be a bit of a conundrum. Thanks Electra! Until next time!

It was definitely one of my best vacations, the house was perfect , just on the sea with its own stairs to the sea and its own terrace with long chairs for sunbathing so we did not feel the need to go to any beach. The kitchen was well equipped so we could also eat at home some evenings.

Villa Electra is our favourite place to stay in Halki. The location is perfect, the villa is large, bright and airy and the terrace is huge and perfect for sunbathing, lunch or early evening sundowners. We spent so much time outside and the layout of the villa worked perfectly for our group. Electra is also super efficient and a pleasure to deal with. We’re looking forwards to our next visit already.

Villa Electra is well decorated, comfortable, clean and roomy (we stay there as a couple) and has amenities you expect in a modern dwelling but contained within the walls of a traditional Chalki house. The position on the harbour front is ideal with private access to the water. The terrace has a lot of privacy, plenty of space and plenty of sun. Just right for two weeks to relax in the sunshine!
